Privitera s.r.l. was founded at the end of the 1980s in Tradate (Italy): one of the best made-in-Italy craftsmanship district. Privitera has gradually established itself as a point of reference in the field of design and construction of marquees and set-ups for all kinds of events and manifestations – public, corporate and private – such as parades, conventions, sports events and ceremonies.

 

The company’s vocation for research, product innovation from a sustainable perspective, as well as the combination of cutting-edge technologies and design have powered a steady business development and, in the past decade, it has also extended to the field of furnishing accessories. Many products are designed and made exclusively by local artisans, conceived to respond to different tastes and styles and able of recreating any desired atmosphere.

 

To breathe new life into its evolution, in 2015 the company opened in Tradate Officina Feniciana: its own space acting both a showroom and an open exhibition workshop, which was inaugurated with an exhibition of eight female artists dedicated to the material reuse and rebirth of discarded materials.

 

The theme of rebirth and reuse therefore returned in 2018, with the debut at the Fuorisalone of Milan Design Week of the new modular iron and polycarbonate greenhouse, “La Fenice”, a refined, lightweight structure that can be easily adapted to any need and architectural context.

 

In 2019 at the beginning of the event DDN Phutura, in the iconic medieval and renaissance spaces of Piazza Castello and Parco Sempione of Milano, Privitera installed two “La Fenice” greenhouses – the first dedicated to press and industry insiders and the second to meetings, concerts and events. It welcomed visitors immediately recalling the concepts of transparency and eco-sustainability that gave inspiration to the event.
